Craig McCracken Talks About Creating Netflix Series ‘Kid Cosmic’

Craig McCracken, creator of the Powerpuff Girls, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, and Wander Over Yonder, talks about his newest series that will be on Netflix, ‘Kid Cosmic’. With the world craving all sorts of “old school” styles and items, animation is no exception. How often do you find yourself wishing that the old Teen Titans would return? Or that you’d give your left leg to be sitting on the floor in front of your tv watching another episode of Ed, Edd n Eddy. Craig McCracken is one of the animators that defines and continues to carry that old school 2D animated look you so crave. ‘Kid Cosmic’ uses those thick defining lines, simplified shapes, and flat colors and shades that give us that old aesthetic we desire to see again.
