The film The Last Starfighter (1984) in the Montgomery Hall Screening Space (Room 120) on Wednesday, September 25 at 7:45pm. All are welcome to attend. The Last Starfighter is one of the first mainstream American films to incorporate a significant amount of computer-generated special effects. It takes inspiration from Star Wars, among other sci-fi action movies of the period, and will hopefully offer a nice stopgap for those who are eagerly awaiting Star Wars: Episode Nine later this year!
